Originally from rural New Jersey, Terry’s path to Farms & Barns passed through Massachusetts and many years as a summer resident in New Hampshire, spending time on the water and islands of Lake Winnipesaukee. Finally, after her sons were off at college, she was able to make our beautiful state her full-time home.
Terry’s interests have always centered around animals, wildlife, and the outdoors. Early on, she owned her own grooming shop and bred and showed Miniature Poodles. For many years she worked as an Import Specialist at an international company, working with agencies all over the globe, including US Customs, airlines, and importers in the US and then on to owning and managing many multi-family residences. The move in 1999 here gave her time to acquire and enjoy her first horse, and she spent many happy years immersed in the discipline of Dressage.
After a two-year stay at a large franchise agency, Terry joined Farms & Barns in November of 2005 to work with the country properties she associates NH with. Terry is a realtor® primarily, and as soon as the law allowed, she moved up from sales associate status by earning her broker’s license. Terry is keen on education and had previously completed Eco Broker and Home Staging Courses and recently added SRS and RENE designations.
A caring and attentive Realtor®, Terry enjoys working with both buyers and sellers and works hard to understand and accommodate their needs both in their current situations and going forward into the future. She is happy to help sellers “prepare” their home for the market. With all her years of experience at Farms & Barns, she has sold a wide variety of country homes and farms, incorporating effective staging concepts that are necessary today.
As a seller, not only will the look of your home improve with her talents, but she has been known to make the barn stand out, too! Terry spends her free time hiking the trails with Rose, her rescue dog, biking, gardening, painting, antiquing, reading, cooking, family and attending as many of her grandson’s hockey games that she can find time for!
