About Terry

Terry Ferguson was born and raised in Grass Valley. After moving away for four years, she made the decision that Nevada County is where she wanted to live. Her three daughters were also born and raised in Grass Valley.

Terry worked in the Nevada County court system for ten years. In her last five years of working for the county she owned and operated a dance school and retail store. Terry ran these two businesses for fourteen years and in December of 1994 she decided to close them both and start a new chapter of her life by going into real estate.

Terry purchased her first piece of vacant land and built her first home in the early 1970’s. From this point on, she continued to buy, sell and build many homes. Going into the field of real estate seemed like a natural transition.

Terry became a real estate professional in July 1995 and since 1999 have continuously been in the Nevada County Master’s Club, an honor given to Nevada County’s top producers. She has worked with government officials and the general public in both residential and commercial property transactions. Terry has served on the Board of Directors for the Nevada County Association of Realtors as the Secretary/Treasurer, President-elect, and President. She has been on different committees for the California Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors and the Nevada County Association of Realtors.

Most of Terry's clients are referred to her by previous clients. She enjoys building long-term relationships, carefully listening to clients’ needs and helping them meet these quickly and successfully. Her goal is to provide service that is beyond your expectations. She provides long ranging service that continues after a property is purchased or sold.
