Theresa Murray-Clasen

Born and raised in upstate New York, it was a job that brought Theresa to Vermont.

After a US Peace Corps assignment, she headed up the VT Department of Public Service’s Consumer Advocacy Division.

Following the birth of two daughters, her work focused on the environment and public schools. Working with a slate of public and private partners, she helped design and implement an award-winning school organics diversion program. She later developed a comprehensive closed loop sustainability program that integrated local foods and composting into schools’ meal service programs in both VT and NH. She has served on numerous non-profit boards promoting and integrating sustainable food systems into public institutions.

Theresa appreciates all that Vermont has to offer and truly enjoys helping homeowners find that perfect buyer and buyers find that perfect Vermont home. A longtime volunteer within the Montpelier School District, she resides in Montpelier with her husband and two daughters.
