Thomas Darbro, a native of Montgomery County, currently resides in Southeast Kansas. His great-grandfather relocated to Chautauqua County from Missouri in 1946. At the age of seventeen, after completing high school, Thomas joined the US Navy as an Intelligence Specialist. In 2008, he returned to Independence to assist in caring for his father. Thomas possesses expertise in freight logistics, water treatment, and environmental science, and has served the community as a Police Officer. In 2017, he began investing in rental properties, and in 2018, he expanded his investments by purchasing two self-storage facilities that cater to the local area.
