About Thomas

Tom grew up at Happy Days Resort on West and Middle Crooked Lakes in Nevis, MN. He has spent his entire life in the lakes area working in customer service and loves meeting new people.

After High School, he pursued further education at Bemidji State University. He graduated with Honors and a Bachelor's in Business Administration with a dual Emphasizes on Entrepreneurship and Management. Tom took an opportunity to study abroad for a semester and attended the University of Oxford at Wycliffe Hall in England. While in Europe, he traveled, learned about new cultures, and took in beautiful historic architecture and history.

While working with Wolff & Simon, Tom has represented buyers & sellers in a wide range of transactions, from Acerages, Lake Lots, Lake Homes, City & Country Homes, Multi-family, Small Businesses, and Real Estate Investors. The culmination of these transactions has given Tom the experience to help better assist clients with their unique Real Estate situations.

In 2022 Tom Joined Brian Halik & Sara Halik as a member of Team Halik. The team provides all their clients with professionalism, dedication, and hard work. Along with 80+ years of combined business experience, Brian, Sara, & Tom are a qualified team to assist in any transaction. As our motto states, "We Work for you!"

Education has always been essential to Tom's life in and around his community. This is a product of his parent's intricate involvement and careers in the last 25+ years for the Nevis School District. This has translated into his continuous pursuit of higher education in his personal life and Real Estate, with Tom acquiring multiple designations listed below.

Earning the Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation is a way to stand out to prospective home buyers and sellers as a REALTOR® who has gained in-depth market knowledge and increased proficiency in a broad array of subjects to enhance professionalism and business success.

The Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS) certification is for REALTORS® who specialize in buying, selling, or managing properties for investment, development, retirement, or second homes in resort, recreational, and/or vacation destinations.

The Real Estate Investing (REI) certification program is for REALTORS® who want to master the ins and outs of working with investors and those who are establishing themselves as real estate investors.
