Jan Fife won't steer you wrong! My girlfriend and I had spent 6 months looking for a new place to rent. We seemingly couldn't find anything on our own; large apartment complexes were uncaring and individual property owners wouldn't give us the time of day. We finally reached out the Houk Group and they put us in touch with Jan. She not only toured us through the property we asked for, but gave us recommendations for other properties that we loved even more. It was a bit difficult and stressful to have a house on the market during this Covid crisis, but from the beginning Justin went above and beyond in marketing our home as we prepared to relocate out of state. My husband, Hal, and I worked directly with Tim Houk. He and his team were excellent, always keeping us up-to-date, making it unnecessary for us to contact them for current information on how the sale of our house was going. This was a major problem with other realtors. They did everything in their power to sell our house using different strategies and all tools available. It was a pleasure to work with them. There isn't a nicer group of people to handle the sale of your home or the buying of a new one.

You will not find a better realtor in the Baton Rouge area. Tim took care of all of our needs and even helped the seller's realtor when there was a documentation issue. He knew the market well and understood our needs. His assistant Kristine was always prompt to respond and support any needs. We financed through a FCU and needed the extra support they provided.

My realtor, Michelle Hebert, with The Houk Group at Keller Williams Red Stick Partners, was fantastic!
I put her through the paces calling her randomly wanting to look at houses I had found online. Although she knew many of them we're not going to work out, she always made time to show them to me or others she had recently found that met my criteria. Over the course of six to eight months, we looked a LOT(!) of 'interesting' houses, and through them all, she never made me feel like I was a burden or wasting her time….even when I found something and called her on a day we had not planned to see any.
When I finally found a home I wanted to put an offer on, she had the difficult task as the go-between myself and the realtor for the seller. There was quite a bit of back-and-forth negotiation and issues with the inspection. She helped streamline the process and made it as easy as it could be.
Throughout the whole process she always made sure that she put my interest first and I knew that anytime if she felt it wasn't a good deal, she would strongly advise me to back out even if it was going to mean a loss of the sale for her in the short-term.
She's a great agent and definitely looks out for her buyers. I highly recommend her to anyone not familiar with the Baton Rouge area or even if you are, she will always put your interest first.

Harrison, my agent, was super knowledgeable about the area and was able point me to the types of homes that he knew I wanted.
