About Tim

Oregon native Tim Rist has always been ahead of his time—literally. Having begun his construction career at age 12, graduated from college at age 19, and received an exemption from the board of the Oregon Association of Realtors® to become the youngest principal broker in the state’s history, Tim was never one to sit around and wait for life to come to him. His tireless drive and outlook have influenced his meteoric and continuing success as well as his client mission: to facilitate abundant living, generational wealth, and unforgettable experiences through real estate.

Born and raised in the Willamette Valley, Tim accumulated his first construction experience building a home with his uncle from the ground up. He was still studying communications at Oregon State University when he became an entrepreneur, launching what would turn into a million-dollar painting business and managing 100 employees and over 400 projects. When a job injury intervened in 2013, Tim responded by earning his real estate license and achieving equal if not greater success. He was named Rookie of the Year, doubled his business for three consecutive years, and closed more than 350 transactions in his first four years as an agent—without ever sacrificing customer service.

Tim specializes in luxury homes and farm properties and has facilitated commercial sales, business-to-business deals, and land developments throughout Oregon. Much of his flexibility stems from a versatile career that includes sales; construction, property, and brokerage management; property developments; flips; subdivisions; business coaching; and life coaching. Tim’s drive is magnetic and infectious, attracting and inspiring like-minded talent and even helping turn former minimum-wage employees into six-figure-earning agents.

Tim leads an equally fulfilling personal life with his daughter Maisy. He enjoys writing and playing music and doing anything outdoors: mountain climbing, hiking, fishing, hunting, camping, surfing, snowboarding, skiing, boating, and flying. Tim is involved in several nonprofit initiatives, including the Adult & Teen Challenge, and he serves on the board of the Safe Haven Humane Society. He also runs the Rivendell Collective, a short-term vacation rental and events property in the foothills of the Willamette Valley.
