Tina Thornton

Tina's real estate career began by circumstance in 1996. In an effort to work part time, Tina accepted a job as an assistant to a top producing real estate agent. As it turned out her love of helping people and the desire to consult was the perfect tool to launch her into her own successful career. Within a month she was licensed and began selling real estate. Within a year her career was proving to be successful, she went into full time real estate sales and hasn't looked back. She shares the same passion for her product as her customers and truly enjoys assisting them in their real estate needs whether buying or selling.

She considers it a privilege to work and live in this diverse community. She was born and raised in Buchanan, MI and is graduated from Real Estate University. Her Midwestern roots left her with a fondness for an intimate, small town community and Southwest Michigan had her feeling right at home from a very young age. Add gorgeous Lake Michigan and an average Summertime temperature of 77 degrees to the equation and she is here to stay.

She is married to local Zoning Administrator, Van Thornton. Van recently came on board as her Buyer's Agent. after retiring from Chikaming Township as the Building Official, and Inspector. He maintains his Electrical Contractor's License, his Mechanical Contractor's License, his State of MI Building Official Registration, Plan Reviewer and Building Inspector. His knowledge and expertise is . We are thrilled to have Victoria Eberhard, a 40 year Top Producer, joining the team as well.

Van and Tina are fortunate to have 4 grown children, 3 daughters and 1 son. And are further blessed with 3 grandsons, with another on the way and 1 granddaughter.
