Tom has been a full-time Realtor since 1997. Being a lifelong resident of Mattoon, property owner, and current farm owner, he has first-hand knowledge of the local real estate market.

During his career, Tom has received the President's Silver Award for sales production, as well as Ruby Sales Level, selected as 2002 Realtor-Associate of the year, and most recently inducted into the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Foundation Donor Wall for philanthropic leadership in 2017. He has served on the board of directors and many other committees for the Central Illinois Board of Realtors. Tom is a member of the Providence Church in Mattoon, a lifetime member of Wabash Lodge and the AASR Valley of Danville.
