About Tom

Tom grew up in the Maple Park area, has lived in the Sycamore/DeKalb area most of his adult life, and now resides back in Maple Park.

After many years of successful restaurant ownership in Sycamore and DeKalb, he decided that a change was needed. However, the desire to serve people still remained. With a high level of service in mind, he felt Real Estate would be a good fit for him and he has been in love with Real Estate ever since.

Starting his Real Estate career in 2009, Tom was taught from the start on not only how to market property in today’s Real Estate market but what it takes to ensure your Real Estate transaction comes to a successful conclusion. From 2009 to 2011, Tom worked for Baird & Warner and is a graduate of the Baird & Warner Career Institute. He also achieved a certificate as a Certified Real Estate Negotiator. In 2012 he continued his real estate education by securing an Illinois Managing Brokers license. In 2017 Tom gained his Wisconsin Brokers License and is now licensed in Illinois and Wisconsin. Tom also served on the Board of Directors for the HomeTown Association of Realtors as a Guest Director (2013-2014).

His desire and love of the small towns of Kane and DeKalb Counties brought him to Castle View Real Estate in mid 2011 and in February of 2014 he became the sole owner of Castle View Real Estate.

The Real Estate transaction has changed greatly in the past few years and helping a first time buyer or helping someone that has sold or purchased a home in the past, understand today’s complicated process, is what drives Tom. He takes great pleasure in passing along his Real Estate knowledge to his clients so they completely understand the process.

His great attention to detail, knowledge of today’s Real Estate process, and a desire to ensure his clients understand every part of the process, all combine to make working with Tom an asset on your side.
