Tony Bassett

Tony Bassett has been a REALTOR with The Danberry Co. for more than 23 years. Licensed in Ohio and Michigan, Tony averages more than $12 million in annual sales volume and about 60 transactions every year. He has been among the top sales agents in Danberry's President's Club since 2005, and serves as an assistant manager for Danberry's Westgate office.

A lifelong Toledo-area resident, Tony is a graduate of the University of Toledo and in 2023 was appointed to the Board of Trustees for UT's Alumni Association. He was the 2022 President of the Northwest Ohio Realtors board, and previously served as the board's vice president and treasurer. In 2024, he was named as NOR's Realtor of the Year. Tony has a Senior Real Estate Specialist designation through the National Association of REALTORS. He has been a Director with Ohio REALTORS since 2021, and serves on OR's communications and RPAC committees, as well as its panels for Professional Standards/Grievances/ Mediation/Ombudsman.

Tony is on Danberry's volunteer board to raise funds for The Toledo Children's Hospital through the Danberry Treasure Chest, and for nearly 20 years has volunteered with Susie's Coats for Kids/Hannah's Socks. Prior to starting his real estate career, Tony worked for several media outlets as a news reporter, photographer, and editor, including The Toledo Blade, The Fulton County Expositor, United Press International, The Daily Freeman in Kingston, N.Y., Toledo Golf News, and the Village Voice of Ottawa Hills.
