About Tony

Stone Auction & Realty was founded in 1974 by Tony R. Stone.


Tony served as president of the Auctioneers Association of NC, and on the NC Auctioneer Licensing Board for 6 years, one of which he served as Chairman. He was elected to the NC Auctioneers Hall of Fame in 1990. He is a member of The Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI) and holds the designation AARE (Accredited Auctioneer of Real Estate), which is held by less that 1% of the auctioneers in the U.S.


Tony is also an N.C. Licensed Real Estate Broker and a member of the N.C. Realtor Association.
