Tonja is an a truly exceptional realtor, who was recommended to me by a previous realtor I had used, when I did not know any realtors in the area. Tonja truly went above and beyond to assist me in selling my mother’s house during one of the most stressful periods in life a person can experience, the loss of a parent and dealing with their estate. The home needed more repairs than I could imagine and I was out of state trying to deal with getting the home ready for sale, making the process even more difficult. Every time I needed a specialist to perform a repair Tonya knew exactly who to call and she organized getting the person out to the home to get the repair done. Every repair was done with excellence and at a reasonable price. She made sure I fully understood every offer to buy the home, gave me the pros and cons, while also leaving the final decision in my hands. I put my faith and trust in Tonja and it was well placed. From the moment I met her and decided to hire he as my realtor to the final signing of papers and beyond Tonya was there for me every step of the way making the whole process as seamless as possible with the least amount of stress on me during one of the most difficult times of my life. I have bought and sold numerous homes of my own, with various realtors and can with full faith recommend Tonja as the cream of the crop in Western WA.

I began working with Tonya just a few months ago and I couldn’t have been more happy or impressed. From our first conversation, I knew that she was going to work extremely hard for me during my personal property search. I had had some disappointing experiences with Realtors in the past, feeling like second fiddle, my thoughts weren’t a priority, etc. But Tonya took every one of my concerns into account when trying to find me my ideal property. The resources Tonya used were easy to navigate and made me confident I would find exactly what I was hoping for. Tonya’s knowledge of the real estate market helped me work through every level of the buying process. She was there to answer any and all questions I had from the beginning, all the way through our signing day. We are so glad that we chose Tonya to sell our home. We were in the process of moving with short notice for a job. Tonya helped us fast track the process and we were under contract in just over a month from calling her to tell her we needed to sell our home ASAP. She immediately conducted a walk through of our home and let us know what we needed to do to put our best foot forward to prospective buyers. She hooked us up with trusted local contractors her husband’s company (Rycon) works with. She contracted with a top-notch photographer that made a video highlighting our home’s best features. Within five days of listing we had three offers, all over asking price. Tonya negotiated a deal that resulted in us selling our home for over $46K over asking AND an all cash offer. We are certain the results wouldn’t have been this good if Tonya wasn’t our broker. We were always informed at each step and she was empathetic to the stress of selling a home entails. We cannot thank Tonya enough for her professionalism and tenacity in selling our home. We highly recommend Tonya to anyone who wants someone in their corner, who will work hard, and put their interests first.

Tonya is amazing! We had previously worked with her to purchase land, but in the end it didn't work out. She happily answered my call about purchasing an existing home months later. Once our offer was accepted on the new home it was off to the races to list and sell our current home. She was up to the task and holidays and snow storms didn't slow her down. She was just a delight to work with and was so patient and understanding of our crazy schedule. I 100% recommend Tonya for anyone who is looking for a detailed, personable, knowledgeable agent.

My wife and I have dreamed of purchasing a plot of rural land for several years now. Thanks to Tonya York, our dream came true, and we are a happy family of landowners now!

Washington real estate market is so "seller's" nowadays that even undeveloped land got expensive and problematic to buy. Competitors have beaten us several times with their "blind offers," not giving us a chance to get comfortable making a solid offer ourselves...

As we found a tempting yet risky piece of land in Union, we swiftly decided to hire Tonya to represent us and help navigate the offer, feasibility study, and closing processes. Many real estate agents who "help" with raw land transactions don't commit to their clients as it's a lot more work with a lot less profit for them. Tonya was a surprising counterexample! She was very involved and helpful at all stages:

* First, Tonya helped write an offer that gave us enough time to conduct the feasibility study but was not too crazy to be rejected by the seller.
* Upon offer acceptance, Tonya assisted in understanding the title situation and other legal aspects that could affect building on the property.
* Most importantly, Tonya worked as an efficient mediator between many parties directly or indirectly involved in the feasibility study, including the seller, neighbors, geotech and septic engineers, etc.
* Last but not least, Tonya supported us till the very closing date.

My wife and I would probably lose our nerves at some point if we tried to do all of that alone. Tonya demonstrated many skills and abilities that complement each other. We saw her as a skillful communicator, a rational and punctual organizer, a knowledgeable real estate professional, and a supportive journey companion. Tonya is straightforward to work with — she is hard-working and is of good personality.

My wife and I can recommend Tonya to everyone who wants to buy or sell real estate property. Not only will she defend your best interests, but she will also do everything in her power to preserve your peace of mind in stressful times!

Tonya did an amazing job for us. We recently needed to sell our house due to my job moving me to another state. I actually found her via a referral from someone else on an internet forum. So I called her up, and we started the process. She kept in communication with us about everything, and was very transparent about EVERYTHING. I was very nervous about starting the selling process but Tonya was so very helpful in taking time to break down the process step by step. My husband and I have worked with Tonya to successfully sell 2 homes within the last year. She is so attentive and never fails to respond to any questions or concerns with lightning speed! We were in need of a few upgrades and she even hooked us up with her husband to do them for us and they turned out BEAUTIFUL! Tonya York is simply amazing and really an advocate for her clients. As a first time homebuyer this process can be scary and intimidating. It’s a huge step and definitely the biggest purchase of my life. Tonya walked me through every step of the process; even before we reached that step. She let me know exactly what to expect. This really helped put my mind at ease as we went through the process; from expectations, the application process (getting pre approved), the home search process, and then actually submitting and offer. She prepared me for everything from start to finish and everything in between (ie if offer is not accepted, counter offers, etc). This really made it so much easier as we advanced through the process. I already knew what to expect. There wasn’t any scary surprises or step I didn’t understand. This made the process more exciting. Tonya is very approachable which made it easy to ask questions and get answers. She never makes you feel stupid for any question you ask. I never felt like I was being ignored working with Tonya. She always answered her phone. If I had a question she knew the answer or found out for me. My house sold in seven days…so Tonya keep me informed…stayed on the buyers agent to keep the sale on track. When working with all the paperwork Tonya was very detailed…I never felt that like I didn’t understand the next step in the sale process, and the papers the needed to be signed.
