I’m Tramaine Chatman-Rose, Broker/Owner of The Real Estate Direct Group in Sugar Land, Texas, and a licensed Loan Officer with Orca Home Loans. With more than 16 years in real estate sales, 7 years in mortgage lending, and 3 years working with a new home builder, I bring a full-circle understanding of how homeownership works—from financing to closing and everything in between.
My specialties include land sales and acquisitions, new construction, condos and townhomes, first-time homebuyers, and investor listings. Whether it’s negotiating the right price, structuring a deal, or navigating disclosures, I focus on helping my clients make confident, informed decisions.
Beyond the closing table, I’m committed to education and advocacy. As a certified Texas REALTORS® instructor, I teach courses like Land Transaction 101 to fellow agents, and I also host homebuyer workshops to prepare families for one of the biggest investments of their lives. My work on local REALTOR® committees, the NAACP, and various community boards reflects a deep commitment to housing access, policy, and neighborhood development.
I grew up in Houston, graduated from Sharpstown High School, earned a BA and MBA from the University of Phoenix, and I’m currently pursuing my Executive Master of Public Administration at Texas Southern University.
