About Travis

Recognizing that he needed to change, Travis began moving forward. After realizing his potential and embracing a new perspective, he pursued his passion and built a life for his family.

Growing up in East Texas, he had everything he needed, even two separate homes. One was a single-wide trailer house with his dad. The other was a 5,000 square-foot home with a volleyball court and pool—a kid’s dream—with his mom and stepfather. Living two sets of lives with two vastly different experiences helped Travis dream of the life he wanted because he knew neither was quite what he envisioned for himself. He knew he wanted to be successful and happy once he realized money doesn’t create happiness. He began searching for a career that created both happiness and success as his long-term vision.

He looked up to his friend’s dad, Tom, a Navy Veteran and Real Estate Broker. He was always there for his family, but he maintained professional success. After serving in Army Special Operations for five years, Travis knew he wanted to build a real estate career.

He earned his license in 2012, but it was hard to break into the industry. He took on three other jobs to help him get by in the meantime. The problem was that those jobs provided a sense of security while he became distracted from his real goal. The distractions created a troubled lifestyle that would only end with dire consequences. He knew this wasn’t him and his full potential.
He needed to get back on track. The thought broke through the noise as he had a sudden moment of clarity. However, to do that, he knew he was going to need some help.

Travis has always been good at going with the flow and moving on when life throws a punch his way. However, he realized that while adaptability is great, one must first address the impact of those punches before one can truly move onward.

After recognizing that he was off track, he returned to the church. It was a big part of his life, but it drifted away over the years. He knew he needed to find his way back. In the first sermon that he attended, the pastor blew him away. He was different from anything Travis had experienced before. Big on mindset and achieving your potential, he encouraged men to grow into leaders for their families. He kept going back and rededicated his life back to Christ in 2017.
While his perspective was shifting and he was rewiring his whole way of thinking, He met his wife, Kim. Without her, he would not be where he is today. She ignited a fire in him to be more. She also encouraged him to quit his safe jobs and go after his real passion—real estate.

Kim has been there to back Travis up whenever he struggled with doubt. As they built their life together, she inspired him to reach higher. People are all their own greatest obstacles, and Kim made him want to overcome his self-limiting beliefs to be better than he ever imagined he could be.

He is most proud of his son, Decker, and how he has brought their family together. When he was born in 2020, he showed Travis what was important and gave him a bigger purpose to serve. He strives to always be the best version of himself, which is always evolving.

Less is more for him now because he sees the value in just being together while sharing time and experiences with loved ones. The only things that fulfills him are serving his clients and being with his family. His favorite part of being a realtor is working through problems that others might not be able to solve.

No one will outwork him. If you choose Travis as your realtor, he will be there to take care of you every step of the way. He eats, sleeps and breathes real estate. Beyond that, his core values of respect, loyalty, trust, faith, and honesty are a huge part of who he is. As someone from the area constantly studying the market, he knows what he does doing and continuously works to sharpen his expertise.

The people in his life matter most, which is one of the main reasons he became a realtor. Offering support and guidance to others while still being a support to his family has been a cornerstone of the life Travis has built. As a veteran and realtor, he does well with adversity. No matter what his clients encounter, he will find a solution. In fact, it is what he enjoys most about his work. He has extensive experience in land, residential and investment real estate. Once the transaction is closed, he will continue to serve your success as your lifelong realtor.
