Trish King

Trish became a licensed Real Estate agent in the South Haven area and the surrounding communities more than 15 years ago. She is a member of the Southwest Michigan Board of Realtors where she served as Board of Directors from 1998 to 2002.

She remains active on several committees of the local board to include Professional Standards and Government Affairs. Previously, she served on the Grievance committees and Public Relations committees. She is also a member of Michigan and National Association of Realtors.

In 1992, Trish received her first Silver Award from the Multiple Listing System of Southwestern Michigan for her real estate sales achievements. She followed that up by receiving Gold Awards for nine consecutive years. As a result of these achievements, she holds life memberships in both the Silver and Gold Club. In 2004, she received the Platinum Award for real estate sales performance.

Trish's most recent accomplishment was becoming a licensed Real Estate Broker with the State of Michigan. She is a graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI) and the Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) programs.

Trish has been an advocate for property owner rights for over 13 years via her involvement with the Realtor Political Action Governmental Affairs and Legislative Committee. Also, Trish was the Van Buren County Campaign Chair for State Senator Ron Jelinek's successful campaign.

Trish has also been involved with South Haven's many wonderful festivals including National Blueberry Festival Chairperson, Ice Breaker Festival Public Relations, and start-up facilitator, and HarborFest volunteer. Often you can find Trish helping friends, neighbors, and the community with donations of time and dollars.

Trish and her husband Larry, and their two children, live in the City of South Haven and have been residents for more than fifteen years. Family favorites are camping, boating, and spending quiet time in the great outdoors of Michigan.
