With a background in journalism and construction, I love digging deeper than other agents might, from getting in the crawlspace to doing extra property-use research. And while agents at big name firms are often juggling many clients, I really enjoy the ability to give clients undivided attention.
After professional experiences working as a journalist, wildland firefighter, alligator surveyor, magazine editor, green RV builder, nonprofit founder, marketing director (and now licensed Realtor®), I am working on mastering the jack-of-all-trades thing. I've built and operated a solar powered food cart, helped excavate a fossilized mammoth and ridden a rodeo bull. Just trying to do my part to at least keep Portland interesting.
After all this, I came to real estate as an investor and got a license because I obviously love collecting skills! Since starting this process in 2021, it's been very rewarding to help other people in finding a place to live and dream as well as sharing what I've learned through varied experiences in multiple careers and as a vacation rental owner. I've found that construction experience has been especially helpful for clients who are looking to update, renovate or revive homes and properties.
I love meeting and working with people from all walks of life and look forward to working with you!
