About Tyson

Tyson "Ty" Mayers was born and raised in Timonium, Maryland. While following his career as a PGA Professional, Ty relocated to Rehoboth Beach in 1994 to assume the role as Head Golf Professional at Kings Creek CC. In his over 20 year career in the Golf Inducstry, Ty developed the art of listening carefully, paying attention to every detail, and exercising exemplary customer service skills; all of which he utilizes daily with all of his real estate clients. Ty started his real estate career in 2007 as a loan officer for a local mortgage company. While working with the mortgage company, Ty effectively used an array of loan programs to finance the needs of clients such as first time home buyers, second/vacation home buyers, and real estate investors. Today he has found that experience to be an invaluable learning tool for his career. Ty joined RE/MAX Realty Group in 2008 and made the transition to full time real estate sales in 2009. Building relationships and making Sussex County home for nearly 25 years, along with his background in the service industry and finance, makes him a single point of contact for all of your home buying or selling needs. Member of RE/MAX Hall of Fame, 2018 #3 Commissions Earned RE/MAX Delaware, 2017 & 2018 RE/MAX Platinum Award, 2014-2016 RE/MAX 100% Club. Ty worked hard and spent hours calling texting and emailing the seller and the sellers agent to get us the house we now live in. Without him and his partner Matt we would not have this house. Some of the many great qualities these agents are have are how knowledgeable they are about the area, the market and the vendors in this area. We would recommend them to anyone. We don’t think we have ever had a person work harder to help us in
any field.
