About Val

As a Michigan transplant I have a unique perspective on our area. I didn’t grow up here, or even in the state. I’ve had to learn on my own all the things that make Monroe County special and my outsider perspective gives me a unique view on what this area has to offer. I chose to move here, and I’ve come to love the geographical diversity of Southeast Michigan; from beaches, to farm fields, to wetlands and woods. I’ve learned how friendly Michigan is for people who love nature and the outdoors, and if that’s you, we’ll get along great. My husband and I both love being outdoors, hiking with our dogs, biking, and have enjoyed exploring all Michigan has to offer.

When we purchased our first home, it was undoubtedly a stressful experience, particularly for me, coming from another state. As a real estate agent, my mission is to alleviate that stress by prioritizing clear communication, impeccable organization, unwavering honesty, and a transparent guide through the intricacies of the buying or selling process. My inherent creativity shines in my specialty of staging homes and recognizing the beauty in properties that may otherwise go unnoticed. In my spare time, I indulge in refinishing furniture for a local shop, aspiring to do the same for homes – to help clients showcase their homes at their absolute best to attract potential buyers or envision their homes' untapped potential.
