Once purchased, the right house becomes a home. Then it transforms into a gym, a movie theater, an office, a restaurant, a playground, and if you are lucky, a place for memories and magic. Once hired, a realtor becomes a therapist, an economist, a general contractor, a ringmaster, and if you are lucky - a friend. Anyone can sell a house. But selling a home requires a carefully cultivated knowledge about not only the past/present/future real estate landscape, but also economic trends, laws and codes. It takes true empathy and patience to answer endless questions about the future when one possesses no crystal ball. It is an art to take the time to truly understand what your client wants and see deeply into their needs. It requires strong character to say the hard things when no one wants to say or hear them and integrity to stand by your word and do what you say. Working with Valerie was a master class in professionalism and true partnership. She is responsive, proactive, organized, strategic, and sharp as a tack. She communicates, delivers on promises, champions for her clients, and drives a hard bargain. She is tenacious and dedicated and she does. not. quit. To work with a realtor is to expose your hopes, fears, and finances to a stranger. It is a leap of faith for both parties, a tightrope walk to dream fulfillment. Valerie handles each element of her profession with the utmost care and concern and her process is thorough and thoughtfully executed. Valerie does not pressure, she does not sell, she does not cajole. She is a matchmaker. Working with Valerie is not work, but a true pleasure, and I cannot speak highly enough about my home purchasing experience with her.

Exceptional. That is what comes to mind when I think about Valerie. She worked with me to sell my property during a slow time of the year and as the market soften. Not only did she manage to sell the home but we made a significant profit. She is a master at getting things done. She worked tirelessly on our open houses, following up with prospects, marketing, etc. She was a phenomenal advisor and great listener throughout this process. My husband and I would highly recommend Val for anyone interesting in buying or selling.
She clearly is an expert on the Massachusetts real estate market. She quickly and seamlessly pivoted to different communities as we expanded our search. She was also always responsive and very patient. We never felt pressured or rushed at any time.
Val provided good and responsible strategies that made our offer the most competitive in a tight market. It was notable to me that when I met the selling agent for our house the agent commented that she appreciated how responsive and communicative Val was.
Val supported us throughout the entire closing process. This included from the time of our offer up until we closed and even after. She answered all of our questions and walked us through every step.

Myself and my husband worked with Valerie for almost one and half year’s. We started to look for houses just three months before the pandemic started. Valerie was very patient us. She was making sure that we were getting the right property to suit our requirements till the end. She never forced us to raise the budget, convinced us for a bad property. My wife Eli and I were very nervous about finding the right house for our family. We had the good fortune to meet Valerie Fournier through Coldwell Banker and our experience could not have been better. Valerie showed us many homes within our price range and was very patient with us. During the course of two months of visiting houses, Valerie was so attentive and kind with us. My wife and I were very particular about what we wanted in our new home and Valerie really paid attention to what we liked and disliked as we visited a multitude of homes.
I noticed as we visited each new home, we were getting closer and closer to the ideal home my wife and I were looking for. And then it happened, Valerie found for us 17 Jones Rd. in Berlin MA. When my wife and I walked through the door, I knew Valerie had found it! It was so beautiful and exactly what we needed. My wife and I were so happy that we made an offer the next day. After we made our offer, Valerie stayed in constant contact with us during the loan process all the way up to the closing day. She helped us in so many ways during this loan process and made us feel so at ease.
A few days after the closing, Valerie came to us with a beautiful house warming gift. In the two months we got to know her, it was like she was part of our family. She hugged both of us and was so happy that we found our new home. I will never forget her kindness and love.
