Valerie's personal journey led her to Barrington when she moved with her family during her high school years. She pursued higher education at Drake University, graduating with a degree in Advertising/Marketing. Following graduation, Valerie spent 12 years in the Advertising Agency business, working in Client Services for prominent companies such as McDonald's, General Mills, Sears, and Sunkist. She held notable positions at Foote, Cone & Belding and DDB Needham Worldwide, where she earned the title of Vice President. After taking time off to be a stay-at-home mother, Valerie decided in 1997 to utilize her background in client service and transition into the real estate industry. Currently, she resides in Tower Lakes with her family, and her hobbies include gardening, staging, and cooking.
