About Valerie

Born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico, I navigated a nomadic life as the daughter of a military service member, experiencing various relocations before returning to Puerto Rico to pursue a degree in Forensic Psychology and later graduating from Law School. As an attorney in Puerto Rico, I successfully negotiated deals and advocated for clients who had been wronged or injured.

My journey led me to the state of Florida, where I, along with my husband and son, sought a better future. After several moves within Florida and North Carolina, we finally settled in Greenville, North Carolina. Moving and finding the perfect place to call home is something I am well acquainted with!

In addition to my professional pursuits, I find joy in keeping up with my 12-year-old son Derek and dedicating time to my family. I am passionate about making our community better, especially for children and teenagers on the Autism Spectrum, like Derek.
