After meeting his current wife (a Real Estate Broker), he moved to the Knoxville area over a decade ago. Even though Van no longer lived in that small town, he never forgot the lessons he learned from living in a small close-knit community, where a man’s word was his bond, where trust, hard work, dedication and loyalty built a foundation that led to respect of others. Growing up around family who worked in the real estate and excavation industry, Van became familiar with that market and desired to follow in their footsteps. Van is a very outgoing person who never meets a stranger, in order to service the needs of both buyers and sellers. Van looks forward to working with clients to help them find the home or property they desire. Van’s business is built on dedication, communication, determination, and trust so that he is able to cater to all of his clients’ real estate necessities. Van spent 14 years as a volunteer Firefighter/EMT, Van is a compassionate, caring, hard working person that will listen to you! With an understanding of your needs and wants, Van will do his best to help you achieve them all. When Van is not working, he loves spending time with his family, watching football, going to the local dirt track races, Smokies baseball and cheering on the Ice-bears at hockey games.
