Vanessa, with her local knowledge and many years of experience, walked us through a plan -- list our house, get interest and allow time for people to see it, while setting a deadline for offers.
Our house sold within a week at well over asking price!

Looking for a new home for your family can be very challenging, especially in the Columbia Gorge area in the last year and a half. In my opinion the best professionals in real estate are honest, listen, work tiresomely to fill dreams, intuitive and attentive to every possible detail to a property. Venessa is an example of all the latter and more.

I am very busy in my own business and a family of three children. My wife and I really needed someone to represent us and take out all the potential concerns and work required in purchasing real estate. Venessa met all our expectations and we could not have asked for a better person to help us. She listens to what you want and does not try to sugar coat a property to sell it. Our property was on the market for over a year under a different agent with no movement, In one week asking my clients who they would choose to represent them and there property? I loved working with Vanessa! She's go-go-go and straight-up. As a first time home buyer, I didn't know much about the process but, I knew that I wanted to buy right away. And she made it happen! I moved in less then two months from our first meeting, all in the middle of corona virus/quarantine. Vanessa gave me a lot of excellent advice and suggestions (how to evaluate/compare properties, making an offer, options for the negotiation). We first worked with Vanessa in 2011 and just recently closed on our 3rd transaction with her. One thing that has always stood out to us is that she is a true real estate professional, she has been in the industry for years and it shows with her wealth of knowledge and expertise. She will go to great lengths to serve the needs of her clients and she works very hard and is best described as tenacious when it comes to closing a deal, yet she is very patient and takes the time to explain things. If you scroll through pretty much any real estate app or website you will see that there is no shortage of Realtors, but as mentioned above, if you are looking for a pro then this should be the call you make. Purchasing or selling a home or land is a major commitment, there is no reason to settle for less than what you deserve.

I had the opportunity to work for Vanessa as an agent in the RE/MAX River City office. Vanessa is one of the most honest principal brokers I have had a chance to work for. She is easy to communicate with and was quick to respond to every question I had. Her knowledge of the Hood River Market and real estate as a whole was impressive and was well communicated to me as I was learning.
