Vanessa Leisure

Vanessa Westerhold Leisure is a native to the Vernon/Bates County area. She is the daughter of the late Harvey Westerhold and Becky Robb. Vanessa was a graduate of Rich Hill High School class of 1991. She is the mother of two children, Trevor Conner and was married to her husband Dale in 2000 and recently celebrated their 22nd anniversary.

Over the years Vanessa worked at various jobs, having a home daycare so that she could be with her son, until he attended school. In the following years she worked as a pharmacy technician, owned a cleaning business, and managed a commercial business.

Due to her husband's job requiring him to travel Vanessa sought a career that allowed her not only to contribute to the family income but one that also allowed her flexibility to be with her children. Vanessa became a licensed Realtor in 2004 and has continued to represent buyers and sellers alike over the past 17 years.

Having lived in both Kansas and Missouri has given Vanessa not only knowledge of the areas but has also allowed her to have a better understanding of the market on both sides of the state line. Vanessa is a member of MAR, and KAR. She has served as vice-president of the Five County Board of Realtors and currently is Chair of the Public Service Committee. She also serves on the board for the Children's Center and actively volunteers in the community. When not working Vanessa enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening, and golfing.

Vanessa takes immense pride in giving superior customer service and making each transaction a pleasant one. She feels blessed with a career that has allowed her to turn many acquaintances into lifelong friendships.
