Venus is amazing. She not only sold our rental for us but helped us navigate so many extra aspects we hadn’t thought of. She dealt with lining things up with the Property Manager, the Tenant, the utilities, just everything. She not only educated us on things but always kept us in the loop throughout the process. The stressors of selling (with so many parties in play) we wouldn’t have been able to handle on our own. She made it all look easy on top of solving them! She knew the perfect list price and was spot on about what it would most likely go for. She really knew & understood the market. We are very grateful to have had her as our Realtor. We will be working with her in the future as well as recommending her to others.

Venus McBride is a wonder. We’ve found and purchased two homes and sold one with her. She’s a native and knows about the various areas with a focus on Horse property. She showed us a variety of properties that met our budget. Two years later she brought us a buyer for that wonderful property. She found us a place we love and saw us through both closings. It does seem her knowledge and experience are encyclopedic.
Perhaps, most important to me is, she has heart!
We would recommend Venus (and have) to other buyers and sellers.

Her invaluable experience resulted in landing a wonderful home and property. I truly feel that I would not have been successful in obtaining a home without her. Venus was not my agent when I started looking for a house. She was the seller's agent for the first house I looked at. I left wishing she was working with me. Not wanting to step on toes, I waited a couple months before contacting her, all the while telling everyone how comfortable I would be working with her. Her is thorough, sincere, prepared and above all thoughtful. She listened to what I wanted but also made sure that I didn't limit my possibilities. She had my best interest at heart. In the end, I did find a house in a location I wasn't expecting to buy into. Venus has an excellent rapport with all her clients. I would recommend Venus highly.

Venus is a well-informed, on-the-ball professional whom we met when looking at an established residential property. She is a quick study and truly wanted to understand what we were looking for. No pressure from Venus to fit us into a property~ she accurately presented the property and was spot on with the pros and cons for us. She followed up with a professional thank you and wished us well.

When we subsequently found a building site of unimproved acreage several weeks later, we contacted Venus again to see if she would represent us as buyers. We felt drawn to the depth and breadth of her knowledge, and her business acumen. It proved to be an excellent choice. Venus shepherded us through the several month process, and was a fount of information during the due diligence phase of the purchase.

We give Venus our highest recommendation and look forward to using her services again in the future, although hopefully not for a few years!

Venus is hands down the best tool in our property buying adventure. I can't recommend Venus and the whole Horsepower team highly enough. Venus completely navigated our small farm property search from another state, during a pandemic. New to home ownership, Venus helped us from A to Z and navigated some tricky circumstances for us with ease and professionalism. She is highly knowledgeable and guided us through the search, inspections, water rights, zoning, you name it - she handled it on this transaction. She also is an excellent communicator which was so amazing to have in this process for us newbies. Venus has been an incredible realtor to work with on Two transactions. She is very detailed and upfront and professional. She is extremely knowledgeable about properties with land and all the variables it can bring. From land use to water rights to permits etc., she assisted us at every turn. We appreciated everything she did every step of the way on a buy for us and on a sell for us. I have worked with several realtors over the years and there were always gaps in knowledge. If Venus didn’t have the information it was always something she would hunt down and not expect us to do the work. Appreciate the hard work!

I can not recommend Venus enough. She sold a challenging property and managed three owners living in different states. As challenges arose, Venus addressed each one with tact and proved herself to be very knowledgeable with many, many personal connections. Her communication throughout the process was excellent, which was especially challenging with three different sellers to work with! Her advice proved to be spot-on and she remained flexible to our needs and wishes. Most importantly, Venus WORKED to sell the property. While other realtors wanted to slash the price and sell the property at a deep discount (a great deal for them), Venus invested a huge amount of her time and effort to broker a deal that was good for the buyer and seller. Venus is a top notch broker, a pleasure to work with, and the only Oregon real estate agent I will ever use.
