I don’t usually write reviews, but Vicky Noufal is a rock star and you should know it! She was enthusiastically referred to me by both of my two very different adult children and their spouses. (She helped them buy the beautiful homes they’re enjoying right now.) That all of them spoke so highly of her told me she really had to have something on the ball to have impressed such very different and, yes, relatively demanding people. But there’s more! During my first meeting with Vicky, she impressed me as a take-no-prisoners, results-oriented, real estate savvy, go-getter. My kids told me as much, but of course I was somewhat skeptical until I met Vicky in person. The best part of it is that she remained exactly that way through the weeks leading to the final sale of my home. She arranged for a professional stager to come in and optimize my home to make the very best first impression possible, something she assured me was imperative. She then had a professional photographer take pictures of my home that left me wondering if I really wanted to sell such a beautiful place. The stager, photos, advertising, etc, were all done at Vicky’s expense. That’s what I call INVESTING in the process. That meant a great deal to me. I also learned during the sale process that Vicky Noufal is a resourceful self-starter. I left on a 16-night Mediterranean cruise shortly after my home went on the market. I received an email from Vicky the day I sailed with news of an offer, an offer I promptly accepted with the conditions Vicky wisely advised. The offer was accepted but then, of course, there were a whole series of inspections that must take place to sell a home. Not to worry: I asked Vicky to set them up and off she went, keeping me apprised the whole time via emails, which I read at my leisure each evening after dinner. Of course, everything that could go wrong went wrong: termites, well contamination, septic issues, radon in the basement, etc. Vicky once again provided wise counsel, negotiated settlements to all the problems, and had the remaining ones fixed, all the while in close contact with me to ensure she was doing only what I wanted done. Amazing. I saw Vicky only two times during the entire process: once when we met at my home where we discussed everything in great detail and I signed a sales contract with her, and the last time when we closed at the realtor’s office. Everything else was accomplished via emails with me and Vicky’s sheer energizer-bunny vitality, initiative, professionalism, expertise, and impeccable social skills. I was lucky to have happened upon Vicky when I needed to sell my very unusual and remote mountain home. (I had tried to sell it a few years ago with dismal results.) I trusted the combined recommendations of my kids and their spouses. If you’re smart, you’ll at least give Vicky a chance to see if she’s half as good as I claim. If you do so I have to warn you: you’re very likely to end up writing a recommendation as glowing as mine.

Vicky helped us navigate the sale of a unique historic property and the purchase of a house (sight unseen!) from 6000 miles away. Our historic home had an offer in one day! I have no doubt this was due to fantastic marketing. Vicky has amazing negotiating skills and secured a fantastic price on our next home. Again, this was all done via phone calls and emails from different time zones. I cannot recommend Vicky and her team enough.

When I started looking for a house to buy in early January, I was referred to Vicky through a friend. I had no idea what she would be like and if she would be able to work with me when I had no time frame of when I could buy a house. I was so afraid I would have a pushy sales person who would force me into something I didn't want. Then I met Vicky. All my fears and doubts disappeared. She was personable, professional, approachable, relaxed, and she listened. When we looked at houses, she pointed out the good and the bad. She asked me direct questions. What was I looking for in a house? What appealed to me about that particular house? Why did I want to see and walk through that house? She called other realtors and asked them direct questions about the houses, questions I hadn't even thought about. When I apologized for taking several months without making a decision and looking at house after house, she told me that this was the process and that was what she was here for. I was totally surprised. I didn't expect such kindness, respect, and patience. She made me feel like I was her only client and I was someone special who deserved the time Vicky was spending with me. When I was ready to put down a contract on one house, she was a confident negotiator who didn't back down. When the contract fell through, I wasn't upset because I found an even better house. As the negotiations continued, I started experiencing cold feet. I second guessed myself and wondered if I was making a wrong decision. Vicky calmed me down and let me know that these were typical fears experienced right before closing. She confirmed that my decisions were sound, the house was a good house, and the neighborhood was excellent. Vicky made me feel confident even though I was doing all of this on my own. If I ever have to go through the house buying process again or if I know of any friend going through the process of purchasing a house, I would not hesitate to call Vicky immediately. If there is any one who needs to purchase a house and wants to trust an outstanding professional who knows what they are doing, they need to go to Vicky Noufal. She is an amazing realtor and friend.

In December 2009 Vicky Noufal was our agent that helped my husband and I locate and close on a wonderful home we purchased in Loudoun County Virginia. Vicky was an absolute pleasure to work with. My husband and I were looking to upgrade our family to a larger home while keeping our old one to rent. Vicky helped us negotiate with a builder on a new construction, as well as find a renter for our old home. Vicky was a huge help in picking options for our new home, and gave valuable insight on what features added the most value vs. items to do later. She was also our advocate during the walk-throughs, pointing out items for the builder to correct and asking things we never even thought of. She was absolutely amazing! Vicky was part of a real estate agency that we stumbled upon when we found a house we were interested in touring. The listing agent of the house recommended Vicky to us and we immediately knew she would be the one to help us through the process. Vicky did an outstanding job handling the sale of our townhouse in Sterling. She was very accurate in her analysis of the surrounding market, and did a wonderful job staging our house for the showings. We were on the market for a little under 30 days. Vicky was also our agent for our purchase of a new-build single family home in Leesburg. My wife and I were not very familiar with western Loudoun County, so she provided a list of a few cities we should look at, and even recommended the Builder that we ended up going with. Vicky provided great insight during the negotiation process, stemming from her many years of experience in the Northern Virginia area. She also worked with the Builder to structure a contingency contract to hold the property while we were still in the process of selling the townhouse. Vicky did an excellent job staying in contact with us through both the sale of the townhouse and the purchase of the new home. My wife and I recently used Vicky to assist with selling our Townhouse, and purchasing of a Single Family Home. I can tell you that Vicky was extremely professional on every level. She has a great deal of experience dealing real estate in the Ashburn/Leesburg Area that she leverages to secure you the best deal. I can tell you that Real Estate moves fast in Northern Virginia, which tends to bring out more emotions. She had our town house SOLD, Under Contract, within 9 Days from placing it on the market! In our situation she relied heavily on existing relationships and experience to secure our dream home within a reasonable price. Where Vicky distinguished herself from others, was through her solid negotiation skills. I “confidently” believe that Vicky saved us a large sum of money by remaining calm and composed throughout the back and forth/difficult and extremely emotional part of negotiating the final sales price. We selected Vicky to sell our house in Sterling, VA for a corporate relocation, approx. one year before our move date. She worked with us to plan improvements and staging, and suggested having exterior photos taken in late spring when the landscaping looked great since our house would be going on the market the following February. She kept in touch, and as the listing date approached she helped us stage the house and then had beautiful interior photos taken by her photographer. The full-color brochures, MLS listing, and her own website were great. The spring photos made our house stand out among the other listings with winter exterior shots. We listed the home for $945K and it sold for $930K in less than a week. Her market knowledge was instrumental in pricing and marketing the home to get this result. FYI: in the options of service provided, they do not list the option that is most accurate, which would be : Listed a home for sell, has not sold Yet, but will Soon! Instead I'm forced to choose the less accurate choice of listed but did not sell. Vicky has a great energy that is very positive, yet grounded, a perfect balance. She is highly committed to each client to do all that it takes for them to have a successful experience with her. Personally, I was most impressed with the following: 1) very easy to talk with, connects quickly and easily with people. As a seller, this is important to me as I want her to make as good an impression on potential buyers and their agents as she did on me. 2) accessible and responsive. If I call, she answers, or calls right back. Same for emails and text messages. 3) incredibly professional- from a hired professional photographer (who was Wonderful) to the most beautiful brochure I've ever seen to top of the line advertising. Vicky offers all these resources to sellers. 4) educated. She really knows her business, so that each client can feel comfortable that every detail will be correct. 5) if you are a seller, Vicky will help you stage your house so that it shows to its best potential. 6) has great resources. Again as a seller, I was very happy that Vicky could refer cleaners, pressure washing companies, carpet cleaners, window cleaners, etc to help us get ready for going on the market. And I was very happy with both of the companies I used based on her references. My experience with her has been highly positive. Very successful Open House in November (and we are out in Lovettsville, Va, making it even more impressive). Great communication with interested buyers' agents and with us. And always looking forward to line up the next Open House or introduce our listing to other agents or put out a new advertisement.
