It has been such a pleasure working with Tori! We have been working with her for over a year looking for our new home in the Princeton/Montgomery area. She was always honest with us on her opinion and was so knowledgeable throughout the whole process. This past year we all saw how fast rates changed and yet she was always patient with us. Our areas of interest and budgets were changing and she was always happy to show us multiple available homes. We would highly recommend Tori! Imagine an ideal friend who wishes you well, anticipates your needs, reliably answers your questions, and is available 24/7 for any questions (or even complaints!). Now imagine that same friend as someone who is an award-winning real estate agent, and you have found your ideal real estate partner.

That is the experience I had with Tori Covert when she became the best friend I can imagine as I attempted to sell my Princeton townhouse in the summer. When I needed help finding buyers for furniture, Tori suggested several helpful non-profits. When I wondered whether to keep some items for future buyers, she reminded me to toss things. And her advice to completely repaint the house interior was a superb example of her reminder to pay something upfront in order to obtain a higher selling price int the end.

Victoria, "Tori" helped us find our house, even as our search became difficult due to the pandemic.
She was incredibly patient, understanding and helpful.
I was initially drawn to her intelligence and expert knowledge of the area. But I discovered during the difficult process of buying a house that she is what they call in French "bien branché," she knows so many excellent people that if you have a question or problem outside her domain, she almost always gives a great suggestion for someone to call.
She took the time to learn our needs and preferences and stayed on top of everything. When I need to sell and buy and again I will certainly be calling her!

Victoria is an amazing real estate agent! She has worked diligently to filter and show me relevant listings for sale. She's patient and a great listener. And unlike other agents, Victoria has a great sense of value of not just the property, but also renovation suggestions and costs. She is very knowledgeable about a wide range of properties from high-end luxury homes to fixer-uppers and even investor/rental properties in the Mercer County area. At one point, when I was also looking at rentals, she helped me greatly as well. I highly recommend Victoria for your real estate needs!

Victoria Covert is the best realtor I have ever even heard of. My husband and I purchased our first home in Ewing two weeks ago, with “Tori” by our side the whole way through. Each time one of us would identify a possible fit, we would schedule a viewing and go see the house. Tori was amazing.

I'll give you my first example. The first house we looked at was charming with an amazing downstairs but once we got upstairs, it became relatively clear that the house was less than ideal for my husband, who is on the taller side. He would have to duck under doorways to get into rooms, etc. Tori was the person who was like "hmm. I don't think this is going to work". I don't have that much experience with realtors specifically but I do have a LOT of experience with sales and a salesman who was just trying to make the sale would have put a positive spin on that situation. That was the first moment I knew that Tori's observation skills and genuine consideration are the things that guide her work - not "making a sale".

Tori doesn't skip a beat or show any signs of disappointment - she just goes with the flow. We looked at more houses after the first, of course, and she was like a fun friend through the process. She was excited about things we were excited about, she pointed out things that were normal and things that were not and she had great ideas for making things better.

When it was “the one” she was on top of everything and I mean EVERYTHING. Her advice on pricing was to the penny - in this market that’s not easy to do! She even helped me edit my letter to the sellers, which I am convinced is what put us in the winner's circle, as we were well outbid by another buyer. During negotiations, Tori was constantly checking in, explaining things we didn't understand and she never made me feel like I was wasting her time, keeping her on the phone, or asking stupid questions (and I was definitely doing at least two of those things).

During the inspection, Tori was with us the whole time. Sidenote - omg inspections are SO LONG omg. She was helpful, calm and caring. She really really knows about houses and has vision to share.

Shenanigans? They don't bother Victoria Covert. Our sellers were tough and this was not an easy process for anyone - I cannot stress this point enough. It was exhausting and I feel so relieved that Tori (and our lawyer) were there with us because I am sure that we were shielded by a lot of things that happened that we don't even know about because they handled it with grace and professionalism, whereas I would have just freaked out.

At the closing, Tori came with one of our brokers and they were awesome. Taking pictures, laughing, celebrating and joking with us. She even came with a brand new keychain for our keys - mine said "new home, new adventures".

Later that night, my husband went to our new home to tinker around (he likes to tinker around) and discovered that Tori had left an extraordinarily thoughtful housewarming gift for us to find - things we would never have thought of but were really helpful and so, so sweet. The card she wrote made me laugh and smile and I will treasure it for years to come. It's a reminder of a special time in life - this extremely personal, terrifying, once-in-a-lifetime occurrence of purchasing your first home.

The whole process with Tori left a warm, cozy feeling in my heart. I look forward to the day when we decide we have outgrown our home and are looking for a new one. I expect she will still be in the realtor business at that point because it seems like this is her true calling in life. Until then - thank you Tori, you killed it.
