Vincent Schurtz

Vince has had a heart for Real Estate since 1999 when he invested in his first property. Over the years, Vince has combined his experiences in Finance, Marketing, Advertising, and Sales, to find a true passion for the buying and selling of properties. With a natural gift for people, Vince can read anyone, engage with all, and has a focus that allows him to connect with people instinctively. His people-person attitude, combined with his extensive background, provides him with a valuable set of skills he will use to educate homebuyers and sellers, find them the home of their dreams, and make it happen.

After graduating college with a degree in Communication from Denison University, Vince found himself in Colorado Springs working in finance for T. Rowe Price. He quickly rose into a leadership role and became a well-recognized and respected member of the team. Following his financial profession, Vince worked in marketing and advertising for the Berry Company and Local Insight Media. Vince has recently worked with technology-driven companies, including Trulia and Zillow, allowing a unique perspective of the Real Estate Market. Vince has purchased and sold single-family homes, multifamily homes and done 1031 exchanges as an investor himself.

Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Vince moved to the beautiful island of Oahu in 2005. After many years in advertising, Vince decided to take two years to travel throughout Africa, Middle East, and India. One short month before leaving the Hawaiian Islands for his solo adventure, he met his later wife, Allie. During his two-year hiatus, the two stayed connected, bringing Vince back to the island of Oahu in 2011. Soon after his return, they were engaged and then married. The couple decided to move to Denver, Colorado, to raise a family in a less crowded place than Honolulu. It took only a couple of years for the couple to realize Hawaii is truly their home and the only place they want to raise their children and dig roots for their family. Maui welcomed the new family of three, now including their daughter, with open arms. Fast forward a few years, and you will find Vince in the small north shore town of Paia, where he lives with his wife and now two young children. Vince spends his downtime in the ocean, fishing, hiking, watching The Ohio State Buckeyes, and spending time with his family exploring all the beautiful island of Maui has to offer. When not actively being a dad of the year or enjoying the day, Vince can reliably be found researching the market and surveying the homes and properties for sale all over the island. With his extensive work history, passion for Real Estate as an investment, and a way of life, Vince understands the interworking of buying and selling a home or investment property and will work hard to get to know, advocate for, and find the best deal for his clients.
