Wade Hanson

Wade Hanson is a lifelong resident of Houlton, ME. He graduated from Houlton High School in 1987 at which time he attended the University of Maine at Orono studying Liberal Studies and Civil Engineering Technology. After completing his studies he and his wife Carol worked in the Bangor, ME area until 1998 at which time work relocated us back to the Houlton area with their two girls. Construction and code enforcement were his focus for the next ten years to be followed by community and economic development for the Town of Houlton. An opportunity then arose with the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians as the Economic Development Director which soon flourished into a role as Tribal Administrative Planner overseeing transportation, housing rehabilitation, and water and sewer infrastructure programs.
