Wade Jurney

Wade Jurney began his career working for his father, also a homebuilder, in North Carolina from 1987-1995. He then worked at US Homes, which was acquired by Lennar in the late 90’s in Sarasota, FL. He founded Wade Jurney Homes in 2001.

Wade is a licensed General Contractor in NC, SC, MI, AL, AZ, GA, and FL, and is a licensed real estate broker in NC, SC, IN, AL, AZ, GA, and FL. Wade received a BS degree in Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro and an MBA in Finance at Elon University. Wade’s accomplishments include becoming America’s Fastest Growing Builder in 4 out of 8 years, creating the nation’s 35th largest homebuilder by units, and the 17th largest private builder, focusing on the starter home segment. He then sold Wade Jurney Homes to Century Communities which helped to make them a top 10 national builder.

Jurney is originally from Mt Airy, NC, Andy Griffin's hometown and the town that the fictional fiolm “Mayberry” is based on. He currently lives in Naples, Florida. He is married with two daughters and a Maltese. Wade’s hobbies include boating, fitness, and playing piano.
