Walter Deane

Walter is the president of Longstreet Associates, a commercial real estate firm specializing in leasing retail and office space and consulting on development sites. He is an eighth-generation New Yorker and attended the Lenox and Trinity Schools. He then received his BA at Duke University (''''84), followed by an MPA at Harvard University (John F. Kennedy School of Government). Mr. Deane has previously served on the boards of the Parks Council, The Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club, and the Friends of the Upper East Side Historic Districts. He is currently an associate board member of The New York Landmarks Conservancy and is a member of the Museum of the City of New York Directory’s Council. He is also a Trustee of the Saint Andrews’s Dune Church Preservation Council (Southampton) and a Trustee of the Southampton Association.
