Wendy Foil

Wendy has grown up in the real estate industry! Her grandparents owned a brokerage, her mother was a realtor, her aunt & uncle were realtors, too! She never anticipated following in their footsteps, but it naturally happened. And, as the story unfolds, the same thing has happened in her immediate family. Wendy’s daughter, Sarah graduated from KU and decided to join the team, and her daughter, Hannah graduated from K-State and decided to join the team, too! They are family! Wendy, Sarah, & Hannah work very well together, and have a trust and respect for each other. Wendy has been married to her wonderful husband, Jim, for 36 years. He received his PhD in Education from The University of Kansas in Lawrence, and his undergrad at Kansas State! He has recently retired as a professor from Baker University.

They have three amazing kids, Sarah, who is now a co-owner of the West Village Realty brokerage. She is married to Tyler Harnett, a real estate investor. They have 2 sweet little girls, Gwendolyn and Sophia. Their second daughter, Hannah, is also a co-owner, and she is married to Stephen Shireman, a professional photographer and they have one little girl, Charlotte who is 1 and her brother Jack will arrive in January 2022. Jake, their youngest son is 17 years old and is a senior in high school. He likes playing basketball, football and track. The Foils are members of Life Church and are very active in the Overland Park community.
