About Willard

After graduating from Texas A&M in Marketing, Willard had a successful career in corporate business development for over two decades before obtaining his Real Estate license in '02. After two years with RE/MAX and GMAC Real Estate, he achieved the American Dream of running an independent Real Estate operation under a Broker with a DBA. In 2010 he joined CoreLogic as a Short Sale Negotiator for CITI and later an REO Asset Manager for Bank of America. CoreLogic lost the BoA contract and in June 2012 he became the only Valuation Analyst in the history of Fannie Mae hired that was not a licensed Appraiser with 10 years minimum experience. After completing his 3-year contract with Fannie Mae, he moved to Central Texas and expanded his knowledge base in Real Estate by transitioning to a Mortgage Banking Officer with BBVA Compass. We were the only loan officers to complement loan origination with loan processing and upfront underwriting (loan approval). In March 2017 he reactivated his Real Estate license and returned to running an independent Real Estate operation under a Broker with a DBA. In March 2020 he was recruited by Vylla Home to be the Central Texas Team Lead. His agents receive unparalleled training in business development, running a real estate operation, and helping them identify the Real Estate business units they desire in their business model. In June 2020, his wife Carey obtained her Real Estate license and together they built the anomaly Real Estate operation super-serving our clients on platforms unique to our business. They serve people renting by helping them repair their credit to achieve the American Dream of home ownership; they educate and help buyers understand their loan options to choose the best for their situation; and provide "Best in Class" service through the entire buying process. Working with Buyers is Carey's passion. From extensive careers in sales, marketing, property valuation, and Internet presence. He enjoys the Listing side of Real Estate and business development with Builders.
