A native of Columbia, South Carolina, Bill spent most of his summers at his grandparents’ beach house in Garden City. A graduate of the University of South Carolina and Emory University, Bill spent several years in the Charlotte, NC area, but always returned to the beach for vacations. He made Pawleys Island his permanent home in 2010. He has watched the Grand Strand grow from a seasonal, tourist area to a bustling community in just a few short decades.
