William Poteet Jr.

Bill has over 40+ years of experience in the real estate business, the last 24 years as the owner/broker of POTEET PROPERTIES, INC. He began his career in 1978 as a Realtor Associate with ID & Associates on Marco Island, Florida. There he listed and sold residential properties. In 1986 he transitioned into commercial real estate working for a national shopping center developer. Over the years he continued to gain experience in both residential and commercial real estate.

Today Bill is the Owner/Broker for POTEET PROPERTIES, INC., a full-service real estate business offering residential, commercial, property management, and development management services. Bill even holds a Community Association Management (CAM) license which allows him to provide Condominium management. His focus is primarily on commercial real estate, property management, and brokerage management of his firm.

In 2006 his company was retained to be the project development manager for 555 on Fifth, a mixed-use building in the heart of downtown Naples and winner of the 2009 Sand Dollar Award. He earned the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation, Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), and At Home with Diversity (AHWD) certification from the National Association of Realtors® (NAR). He previously earned the Certified Leasing Specialist (CLS) designation from the International Council of Shopping Centers® (ICSC). In 2014 Bill received NAR's Commercial Achievement Award and in 2016 he was recognized by the Florida Realtors with Florida Commercial Achievement Award. Bill has been listed in Outstanding Young Men of America and Who’s Who in Business and Professionals. He is a 2001 graduate of Leadership Collier.

In 2008 he was recognized the Citizen of the Year by Collier Citizen for leadership in the Golden Gate community.
