Yana was the BEST!! I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking an experienced realtor with great knowledge of the area, being a local herself. She really was great, extremely timely in responding with getting back to us, often almost immediately and accommodating to us in squeezing us into her busy schedule for showings, she went far and beyond what I've seen other realtors do. Yana had to deal with an extremely difficult sellers agent and through her constant calls and perseverance, got the job done and us into the home just in time for the holidays. I only wish she could have collected the full commission as she did the other realtors job as well as her own. With her local knowledge, she has also advised us contractors and company's to use (and stay away from) which they have worked out great for us. Again, I would highly recommend her and when and if we decide to sell, she will be our first contact.

I called Yana in the morning to get some general questions answered about some properties in the area. She was extremely responsive and knowledgeable about the area. Due to Covid, the market has been slammed with buyers and sellers. To make it extremely harder for her, I wanted to come up for San Jose the same day to view some properties in the area. Being last minute, she was able to show 6 properties that fit my style during our phone conversation that morning. A week later from seeing the houses with her, we are currently closing on a house. Thank you, Yana, for helping us and dealing with our tight schedule. I will use Yana again for our next purchase.

My wife and I personally interviewed a number of agents before we began our search for the “perfect” cabin. I had met Yana through online searches because we live in San Diego. When we finally visited Twain Harte, Yana stood out head and shoulders above the rest. She was exceptionally calm, composed, professional, and an excellent listener. She spent a day taking us to many properties and focused on learning what we were truly looking for. We had very specific requirements for a rustic cabin, location, and lake access. She zeroed in and found it!

Yana is from Twain Harte. She knows the community and is very well-connected. She found our cabin before it actually went on the market and alerted us. That enabled us to present our offer on the first day of listing. The seller had a difficult agent who was generally aloof, arrogant, and uncooperative. Yuck. However, Yana worked assertively and professionally with that agent to maximize our best interests until close of escrow. Her commitment didn’t end there. Seller and Agent were so lame that they left the property filthy. Yana took it upon herself to have the cabin professionally cleaned as a “Welcome” gift.

I enthusiastically recommend Yana for your consideration. She has a special quality of becoming attuned to (in our case) the buyer’s needs and interests; She then works tirelessly to deliver. We are so grateful to have hired her and to have found the cabin that we hope will be a lasting legacy in our family. Yana is A++++++.

Yana helped us purchase our vacation home in Strawberry, CA and was an absolute delight to work with. I highly recommend her. She is very knowledgeable about the area and provided us great guidance. She guided us to look at other great properties in the area in addition to the initial list we had created, and gave us great advice about what to watch for when reviewing homes in the area. She has a good understanding of construction and was able to help us understand what challenges we’d face in a home in the High Sierras (woodpeckers, moisture, winter access, etc.) as we are from the Bay Area.

In addition to helping us select the perfect home, Yana is excellent at the logistics and commercial details of the transaction. She represented us well in negotiations with the seller, and took great care of us every step of the way. She answered our questions about closing, appraisal, inspection, etc. She is always great at communicating what to expect, what will come next, and what risks we could encounter along the way. It has been many years since I have made a purchase, and Yana was very patient with me when I was nervous and had a million questions.

She was very reassuring when we had a hiccup with the appraisal and helped us understand exactly what was happening and how it would affect our timelines. With living three hours away from the property, being able to trust your agent is an absolute must! Our purchase was an investment property, and we would absolutely use Yana again for our next purchase. After the close, she also helped us track down the right utility providers and had great referrals for a handyman, snow plow service, etc. We really appreciate all she has done for us. It is clear that she cares about her clients, and we really enjoyed the opportunity to work with her.
