Zach was very upfront and honest about all of the steps that go into buying a home which was very much appreciated and needed. Even though buying a house is a stressful time Zach made it a lot easier by making sure that we were looking at houses that were exactly what I was looking for regarding location and cost. Zach is a joy to work with! Very honest, detailed and just made the experience more enjoyable in the home buying journey. If we had questions he wasn't able to answer, he gave what info he could and offered to help find out on some things he couldn't. He was upfront about the timeline of the process, what to expect from the different entities involved and helped keep everything on track. Zach was also very accommodating and put in some long drives to show us some homes we were interested in. Overall, it has been a wonderful experience and I am very happy we got to work alongside Zach. His knowledge and communication with us made this so much easier to get through. I really cant say enough wonderful things about Zach. We were moving from Texas and Zach helped us with every step along the way. He has great open communication and was able to help guide us as we navigated a new place. He gave us weekly and sometimes daily updates once we found a home. We also provided a number of recommendations from our mortgage company, inspector ,cleaning service and even a vet! He really cares and it shows. I cant tell you how overwhelmed we were with moving, but Zach made this part easy and even enjoyable for us. I never had to ask for an update because I knew he was on top of it. We had the pleasure of working with Zach twice this year! He helped us find a new home/builder while we were transitioning from CA to CO, and he helped us sell our town home we bought in 2008.

Zach went above and beyond at each step of the way! He went to various builders to price out options, toured homes via Zoom, coordinated bids/appointments (i.e., painting, fireplace repair, carpet, etc.). He also made sure he was present at every builder appointment to help us navigate the complicated process. Lastly, he’s continued to stay involved even after the home was built/closed to help us navigate/escalate issues with the builder to make sure our home is perfect!

Had a really great experience with Zach Otten as my primary realtor trying to find the perfect first home in the Denver area. He worked with me on market trends, realistic expectations, etc before starting the search so I knew what to look for. Still kept my main criteria and found a place that checked the boxes what I was looking for in Denver's very competitive market. Additionally he was always quick to respond. If I had a question, wanted to tour a place, or encountered any issues during the signing process, etc. he would respond in a very timely and professional manor. For example from the inspection results it was apparent the electrical panel needed to be replaced. As the previous owner wanted to issue a credit rather than replacing themselves Zach was able to get a quote from one of his electrical contacts in less than a day so we had sufficient back up information to propose a credit amount. It was the little things like the above example that made working with Zach very straight forward all while keeping the complicated process of buying a home as smooth as possible from start to finish. I would highly recommend Zach to anyone who wants a great realtor who will go above and beyond.

Purchase of new home:
My husband and I both have heath issues, so we asked Zach and Maddie to do much of the looking for us. We sat down with them and discussed exactly what we were looking for, then they went out and looked at the builders in the areas we were wanting to live. They would house hunt for us, making walking videos of possibilities, allowing us to reserve our energy to look at only the ones we were truly interested in. They were very helpful with suggestions relating to the purchase of a new build regarding what to look out for, and various considerations good and bad.
Once we found our one, Zach was alongside us from the lot selection lottery to the final walkthrough. He was always checking in to see if we had any questions.

Sale of Existing Home:
He helped in every aspect of getting our home sold. He suggested specific areas of improvements/changes that would help with our sale. When we needed an electrician, painter, or house cleaner, he provided a name.
He provided a good selection of comparables to help us settle on a good sales price for our home. And we hit the sweet spot.

Long before we were ready to list he provided us with a home stager to help us spruce things up.
He provided professional photography of the exterior and landscape using a drone, as well as professional interior pictures of our home.

I do not think we could have done it without all of his help. He helped us in every aspect of a buy and sell scenario. And he sold our home in the beginnings of Covid19, when everything was extremely scary with our health issues. He made sure every precaution was made.
We sold our house in 2 days and over asking price. And with only 3 weeks to move into our new home, we were able to move from one home to another. No renting in between.

Zach is honest, up front, and a delightful personable realtor. We feel he went above and beyond compared to the 2 previous realtors we had with our first home purchases. He has an excellent work ethic, and was beside us for each step. Now I do not know how other realtors do it now days, but compared to what we had experienced previously buying homes, Zach Otten was more than we ever expected.

Zach and Madison Otten did such a great job helping us move into Highlands Ranch from out-of-state that they were our only choice when we had to move again into Parker. They helped us get our home ready to sell, with good advice and references for vendors to prepare it and take care of inspection items. The house sold in a few days for our asking price, despite COVID19 and a snow storm! They were also very patient during our search for a new home that would meet the needs of a five-person, three generation household. We highly recommend Zach and Madison!!
