Where to start. Zach came recommend from work colleagues and has been the go to realtor for our new hires. I think he has something like >10 happy customers from our work and we are consistently recommending new hires to him.

I didn't know anything about buying a house but Zach walked us through it step by step. He is the ...dare I say... Utmost professional. His knowledge of the market provided fantastic guidance and helped us make the right offer (under asking price!!) that was accepted right away.

This is when he kicked into high gear, he facilitated an efficient process and ensured coordination between the mortgage broker, escrow (who was less than helpful), and helped navigate a unique third party lender situation. His organization ensured that we were aware of timelines for each step and provided expectations on things such as inspections, renegotiations, etc. If any issues came up (and they did) he had an answer ready or a person ready to come fix it.

The best part about Zach is he is not just a robot doing business. We are not just a transaction to him, he is thoughtful and keeps in touch. My wife recently had a birthday and boom in our inbox an email from Zach wishing a happy birthday (I'll leave the surprises for when you buy a home from him)! When the holidays come around and we got a card from him and his family! As time passes and he sends a letter providing an update about his life and his family. But importantly he also reaches out about business and lets us know if and when rates drop so we can refi as appropriate.

Needless to say, Zach is the realtor you recommend to your friends. I have already recommend him to at least 2! One of whom also had a positive experience with Zach, and while they had a dinner party we were invited to, another couple inquired about realtors to which an emphatic response from the table was ZACH PLUMB!

I have bought and sold 6 properties in my lifetime. The Relator I used for the sale of my condo in August I would have rated the best experience I ever had with a real estate transaction. That is, until our recent purchase in El Cajon utilizing Zach as our agent. I was very impressed with the spreadsheet Zach utilizes for the entire buying experience. This was not my first rodeo, but I sure wish I had known Zach for my first real estate purchase. The spread sheet takes all the stress out of the real estate part of it. Lenders, a different story. During my 6 real estate transactions, I recall two gifts from agents upon closing that I kept. The scented candles, head scratchers, stress relief balls, (you get my drift) all ended up at Goodwill. Zach sent out a questionnaire asking about your likes, sports, hobbies, tastes, etc. so that he could tailer his gifts to his clients. For a young man, he totally has it all together. I would never use anyone else for a future real estate transaction and I would recommend him to anyone looking to sell or purchase a property.

We are so thankful for the professional, personal, and 5 star service Zach provided in our journey of finding the perfect home. This is long review because I want to show my appreciation but the biggest take away is he is truly wonderful and earned our trust.
Like all perspective buyers we had a list of things we wanted in our new home. He did not just send weekly email with generic homes listed in our area. It was obvious he looked at each home to ensure it met our criteria. This to me showed he was respectful of our time. I know he adjusts based on each perspective buyer.
We wanted to do things in an unconventional way. Zach was happy to take on the challenge. Though he is all the things I listed above the part that I truly respect most about Zach is he did not speak about things he was not sure about, the way we wanted to do things had a lot of misconceptions. He is extremely knowledgeable however if he wasn’t a 100% certain about the process or the answer, he openly said he would research the answer and get back to us. And he always did in a very timely manner. This to me is such an important trait to me. It created a high level of trust and I trusted his judgement.
When he spoke to other realtors he was respectful while able to clearly communicate things to represent us and our best interest to create a positive relationship.
During the buying period he was available and involved that I would have thought we were his only clients.

One word to describe working with Zach is professional. It is too easy to find houses for sale today by using websites like Redfin or Zillow which so what you need from an agent is advise as to why some of those houses on there are a bad match for you. There were plenty of homes that I saw which impressed me, but Zach was able to identify half a dozen issues he was able to see that saved me from a huge mistake. Throughout the entire home buying process Zach kept constant communication with me letting me know everything that was happening. Since this was our second time selling a house we were looking for someone who wasn't all about the money and actually looked out for our best interest and we found that in Zach. He is very knowledgable, caring and has great contacts for things we needed done. His communication is on point and we NEVER had to ask a second time or wait for a long period of time for a response. “Exceptional” is the only word I can use to describe our experience working with Zach. He is so so organized, and was always available for every tiny question I had. He uses a spreadsheet that he continually updates that you can check to see the status of your home buying process, so you are always in the know. When we started the house hunt, we had a list of seven places we wanted to view, and with only two days notice he was able to arrange for us to see them all in a single afternoon. The townhouse that we fell in love with already had a bidding war going on and Zach had to act fast to help us get our preapproval so we could throw our offer in at the last minute—and we got it!!! He was with us every single step of the way, even coming to the escrow signing to explain anything we may not have been clear on—something the notary said she’d never seen any realtor do before! To top it all off, he got us a gift card to our favorite restaurant as a congratulations when we closed. I wish I knew more people trying to buy a house, just to give him as a referral. Go with Zach—you will NOT regret it :)

As a mortgage broker, the partnership with a selling agent is essential to a smooth closing for a buyer. Zach was exceptional as an agent: easy to reach with clear communication professionalism throughout. And it doesn't hurt that he negotiated the sale substantially under what the appraisal result showed!

It requires a rare combination of knowledge and savvy to get things done quickly with so many moving parts and Zach did a great job, and under budget. Highly recommended!

My husband and I met Zach at an open house and we left in agreement that when the time came to get serious about buying a house, Zach would be our guy. He gave us so much helpful information just in those few minutes we spoke with him during the open house. He also exuded confidence, which was important to us. Zach was aboslutely FANTASTIC to work with - he made buying a home in a competitive market look like a piece of cake.

We met him at a house showing and were immediately impressed by his knowledge of home updates and his attention to detail. We met up with him and explained our situation (military waiting on orders) and he was patient with us throughout the entire process as we nailed down the neighborhood we wanted to live in, as well as our budget.

When it came time to start putting in offers the process moved fast, but we were confident having Zach by our side the entire time. We can't say enough good things about his attention to detail and his leverage of technology during home showings and during the offer writing process. He was able to win an extremely competitive bid on the best house we've seen in a while and it is mainly due to his interpersonal skills with the listing agent, and his guidance to us as buyers.

Throughout the escrow process he was again with us every step of the way and helped us prioritize next steps both in the near and far term. Even when things got a little overwhelming (first time home buyers...) he remained calm and confident.

We just closed on the house, and we feel honored to have him as our real estate agent. We're going to tell every single one of my friends to use him if they buy a house because we know he'll provide the best service around.

Buying a house for the first time is a daunting and expensive life decision. It's also one that is very deeply personal, as it's the place where we not only store our possessions, but build our lives. I hadn't considered just how personal my first home search would be until I initially embarked on it on my own, without an agent. Trying to navigate my way through unfamiliar neighborhoods and the uncertainty of random open houses, was stressful and really frustrating. I was apprehensive to work with an agent at first because I didn't enjoy the idea of sharing so much personal information about my home and finances with a stranger. However, several of my colleagues had worked with Zach in the past and others were currently working with him, and on their positive recommendations (and after leaving 10 open houses in a weekend disenchanted with the home buying process) I decided that it was worth a meeting.

AND I'M SO INCREDIBLY GLAD THAT I DID! Zach immediately made me feel comfortable talking about my wants and needs in a home and never making me feel like I was being ridiculous with some of my requests. His calm replies of "Okay" while making note of my comments did wonders to allay my fears of being judged.

Within 4 days of our first meeting I was already in escrow with a home that met every criteria I had asked for! Zach had very quickly understood what my priorities were in a home, what neighborhoods I would (and wouldn't) like, and helped me see each house with unbiased eyes. He also patiently answered my many detailed questions about the process and paperwork of home buying. It was also incredibly helpful that Zach's organizational strategies of using Google Docs and Evernote to share information and update me were tools I was already familiar with and what I preferred to use in my own work. His very clear communication throughout every step did wonders at keeping my anxiety over such a huge decision at bay.
When I needed it, Zach was my negotiating advocate, my cheerleader, my sounding board, and my task manager. Never pushy, but kept my expectations realistic.

Zach totally transformed a process I had been dreading for quite some time into one that was smooth and well orchestrated. While I plan on staying put for a while, when the day comes for me to move, I'm already comforted by the fact I know Zach will be there to help me navigate that process too.

One day my wife and I drove past an open house. We went inside to find Zach showing this house. We were not in the place to buy six months ago. Zach gave me a card and asked if I’d be willing to meet with him. About two months ago I met up with Zach, he explained the whole process of buying to me. My wife and I have never purchased so we had no idea what we were looking at or looking into.

I always believe this would be a daunting and long process, but Zach has a way of simplifying it for you. He preemptively told us every challenge we would possibly encounter. In many ways Zach made this process easier and more pleasant than purchasing a car. With every house we saw, he pointed out things to look for as well as any red flags. He helped us to realize with each house, exactly what we were looking for and things we didn’t realize we wanted.

I am a OIF disabled Army Veteran. We decided to roll the dice with Zach on a VA loan and he knocked it out of the park. In only two short weekends, and our second offer we got the house we wanted.

He is a young agent but do NOT let that fool you.
If you’re looking for an agent who:
1) is patient
2) educated
3) punctual
4) has great communication skills
5) down to Earth
6) responds quickly to text and email
7) and has a positive perspective,
I highly suggest you give Zach a call. We took a chance and we are so thankful we did. He had/has answers to all of our questions and even gave us friendly recommendations and help on all of our other house related topics.

My husband and I met Zach randomly at an open house and were instantly impressed with his industry knowledge and honesty and made him our agent the following day.

Being our first home purchase, we relied on Zach to walk us through every step of the process. He was incredibly patient, thorough and well connected giving us information on everything from neighborhoods to focus on, home warranty information, vendor recommendations and more.

Zach's organization and follow up went above and beyond our expectations. He always made himself available by text or phone call regardless time of day/night. Zach is the best you can get!

I had a metric ton of questions throughout my home buying experience as it was my first home. I was recommended to Zach and his teammate at Jesse Morrison Group from a coworker. Don't let his age fool you, he is one of the best around, and Zach will go the extra mile for you at every step of the home buying process! He is quick to reply to questions, kind, a fun guy to work with, and will give you the facts straight no matter what. He isn't going to try and force you into the first home you look at because he really does care about his clients.

We looked at over 20 different homes and condos in around a weeks time with Zach keeping track of what I liked and didn't like about each one. I could always return to the detailed online notes he kept of each one. When it came to writing offers on one I liked, Zach would do comps same day and let me know an accurate ballpark of what I should start at. This is what really won me the bid on a townhouse that wasn't ever on the market yet! It had everything I was looking for and within my budget(which was no easy task let me tell you).

Even when the sellers realtor had delayed the escrow process for OVER A WEEK, we were still able to close in 23 days! This is because Zach was on top of everything from the first day until we closed. He gave advice on where to find appliances and furniture that were better than buying new even after I got into the home.

If you want a realtor that is honest and actually cares about his clients, call Zach.

HONEST: Above all things, Zach is an extremely honest and caring person who enjoys helping people find their homes. Having great trust in Zach was the most important factor in lowering our home buying stress. We could rest easy knowing that he was being upfront with us, acting in our best interest, and working hard on our behalf.

EDUCATIONAL: As first time home owners, I was shocked at how much there was to learn. Zach patiently explained our endless questions and always made sure we understood what was happening throughout the process.

PROACTIVE: Zach was neither pushy nor hands off. He was the happy proactive middle ground, giving us space to make the decisions that were right for us but also helping us keep up with the fast paced San Diego housing market.

WELL CONNECTED: Every other realty associated business that Zach recommended (mortgage company, home inspectors, plumbers, etc). were also top notch and very professional.
