As an agent, Shapiro keenly understands the specifics of each transaction and supports his clients every step of the way. It’s a stressful process he admitted, but said he is happy to provide hand holding whenever necessary, especially for his first-time buyers. “I want the experience to be as easy as possible,” he said. His clients appreciate that he is available for them around the clock and attest to his patient approach and astute knowledge of the industry, confirming that he closes deals as seamlessly as possible.
Shapiro is Orthodox and believes it’s a bonus for many of his Orthodox clients. “I know what they want in a house, a community, and a lifestyle,” he said. He continued that South Florida has seen incredible development in its Jewish community over the last few years. People who live there have an excellent choice of kosher markets, restaurants, schools and shuls, and the consistently nice weather is a big plus.
Shapiro prides himself on being a step ahead. In fact, over the last two years he has been approaching potential sellers so that he could accrue inventory to offer prospective buyers. The turnaround is quick, he said, and you must be in it to win it.
Shapiro believes the transition from the Northeast to Florida is easier than ever. Since the pandemic, Miami has become a real engine of commerce, he said, and with all the amenities an Orthodox person needs, you’re not leaving much behind.
Shapiro says he’s not just selling properties, he’s in the business of selling dreams. The beautiful homes he sells come with amazing sunsets, fantastic beaches, opportunities for family gatherings and a warm and welcoming Jewish community. More than an agent, he thinks of himself as a facilitator to that dream.
