Alva dosent have a lot of African American students which when I moved to Alva I thought I wasn't going to make friends as easily I usually would. U was wrong though, I made ALOT of friends, Even got myself a boo! Anyways I judged Alva by its cover . -Mya

The Alva School has been a wonderful school for our family. My son has thrived here academically. The staff, principal, and students seem to really care and make this school feel like a home away from home.

This school is great if your white, if your anything else it’s horrible. At this school they care more about if your shorts are to short rather then students mental health. 4 times I tried to tell the staff about the racism and they did nothing but let the white kid off the hook with a warning.
