Sagamore Hills Elementary School has worked with the students of Briarcliff since 1961 to educate its students from Pre-K to 5th grade. Promoting a positive and encouraging environment of nurturing care, the school provides its learners a safe and enriching place to learn. As a feeder school for Henderson Middle School and Lakeside High School, it looks to prepare its students for the rest of their education.
Gifted students have an opportunity to experience challenging coursework and stimulation, while special education students receive curriculums tailored to their specific abilities and needs.
The school also provides resources for extra programs including “Book Buddies,” which cultivates supportive relationships between different students through reading and writing together. The school grounds are further enriched by an outdoor classroom, butterfly garden, numerous flower and herb beds, and class vegetable gardens.
With school-wide STEM integration, Sagamore further enriches its students' education through engaging experiments and projects including STEM club days, LEGO days, a school-wide egg drop competition, paper airplane contest, math trail day, and space days.

We have two children so far at SHES and we couldn't be happier. The school is community minded and caring while also managing to challenge and stimulate the kids. We've had 2 children at SHE for tw0 years now (since we've moved to Atlanta). It's been a great experience for not only them but for us, as adults, too. My kids are thriving and I'm kept well informed of all activities and progress. I couldn't imagine a better place to send my little ones!

SHE is an amazing experience all around and I have two kids with vastly different interests, challenges and talents. Not only is the school wonderful, but the parents are so incredibly welcoming and kind. Our family feels like we are a part of something important and fun right here in our community....
