Lansdowne isn't a bad highschool, the building could be better, but it's getting rebuilt currently. The staff are overall nice but it seems that most have lost motivation for their jobs.

The best thing about Lansdowne is how accepting they are there are a lot of culture events where you get introduced to new food, languages, and culture clothes you will never feel left out. The worst part of Lansdowne in my experience is the safety I know this not the school fault but the smell in the hallways and the constant fights.

As a parent watching her child- Lansdowne has been a good fit for my son. He is at the top of his class academically speaking and is excelling at their sports program, namely lacrosse. We are in a transition phase at our high school, they are in the process of building a new high school so all of our sports that need fields- lacrosse, baseball, softball, football.. we have to go to other schools to play games. It's hard for the kids not to have a "home" field, especially during special occasion nights- such as Senior night at sporting events. The principal and staff are very supportive and have a good repour with the kids and the parents.
