Overall it's a pretty normal highschool, most of the teachers are fantastic and really care about their students, and they go above and beyond to give us a good education. However some of the policies are a bit excessive, and the upper administration is completely disconnected from their student body. Campus security is also extremely lax, they'll yell at you for jumping in puddles but leave the gates wide open and let people just walk on and off campus.

Benicia High School is a good school. The small town of Benicia has four elementary schools that feed into one middle school and one high school. BHS has good teachers, academics and sports.

Bullying is a constant battle everyday. School faculty is absent from virtually every troublesome issue that appears. Academic opportunities are limited in terms of availability. Only students who take AP classes are given access to worthwhile opportunities. Many counseling faculty fail to provide s...

If you are looking for mediocre, this is the school for you. If your kid is a B student, with no issues and no need for advanced classes, BHS is a perfect fit. If your kid doesn’t want to go to a top college, you’ve found your place. In the three years my daughter has attended, the school has gotten...

With amazing resources to colleges, forums for the students to voice their opinions, multiple tutoring programs, and teachers that truly want to further your knowledge, I can say without a doubt that this is the school I would want to send my kids to when I am older.
