Our overall experience with Bloomfield Hills High School has been positive. Most of the teachers care about their students and their learning. The counseling department is excellent. Communication from administrators is timely and professional.

I have done the majority of my learning outside of class, most teachers don't do a very good job with helping students understand the curriculum. They just go through the motions that they need to go through. I was very rarely prepared for tests.

My school is alright, though it has had some controversies in the past and struggles with inclusivity. These issues often cause a big stir for a minute, and empty promises are made, but no actual, tangible change comes around. I'd like to see my school better commit to creating an inclusive, inviting place for all, and seeing consequences in behavior that does not align with that.

BHHS is an exceptional school! The building is amazing, but the school is so much more than that. The teachers and entire staff are what really make it such a wonderful school. The teachers are extremely smart, kind, and compassionate. I am so happy we chose to move to this school district. My kids...
