Hickory High School had some lovely teachers, however, the school has a very severe bullying issue towards marginalized students. Staff are occasionally helpful, but typically not.

Great school academically and safety wise. Most teachers I have had are great and there are barely any fights or dangerous situations. Sports are good as well. Great atmosphere at football games and good school spirit. Though If you're looking for diversity, this is not the school for you. It is located in a fringe-rural area so not very culturally diverse.
