This is only my first year here as I transferred here for my senior year to lock in and prepare for college. But from my experiences so far, I think it's a decent school. It has its ups and downs, but coming from an even worse-run school I will say I don't think West Nottingham Academy is as bad as other students might make it out to be. Some of the best parts of WNA in my time so far would be the resources available to me. If I had taken my senior year at a public school, I wouldn't have been given much guidance on applying to colleges, SAT prep, etc. At WNA there is a senior required seminar course that has been game-changing for me. It focuses on SAT prep through the Khan Academy SAT courses, another big focus is the college process. We move at our own pace in the Senior Seminar course as we all have different and unique goals for what we plan on getting out of the course. A not-great experience I've had at West Nottingham Academy has been dealing with unnecessary drama with peers.

My time in West Nottingham Academy has been filled with many highs and lows, and over the past 2 years I've thought lot about my life and my future to come. The education here is bare minimum at best, the area is boring and the food is average but sometimes bad, but one thing I can say is that some of the people I've met here are pretty cool, and they're able to make this school seem not so bad.

My son attended WNA for 4 years and I am very happy that he went there. He has made a positive change from the day he started until the day he graduated. If you need one on one access to teachers, caring staff and faculty and meet students from all over the world this is the school for you.

My son started West Nottingham this year after he was struggling in the public school system in the major metropolital area in which we live. WNA enabled him to slow down and begin t enjoy learning. He boards so the cost is higher for us, but well worth it to see hm doing so well. Go WNA!
