The most I can give Hampstead is 3 stars and that's generous. I have found the school and town to be unwelcoming of new students. There special education department is deplorable and has zero respect for parents concerns for their child. Their principal also does not have a filter and very inappropriate. I also find little to no communication between staff and parents. Curriculum is very old school and there really isn't a true measure determine the progress a child makes academically in reading.

My stepdaughter and daughter love this school. The staff is great and provide a fun nurturing environment for the kids to learn. I could not ask for more.

HCS provides a caring atmosphere for students to learn. The hold high expectations of their students and provide support for the students to achieve.
