Highland is a very small community so there is not much that goes on but everyone knows each other which creates strong bonds within the community. I don't think that i would change anything about highland except for increased diversity but other than that i think highland is a quiet and great place to live.

I've been enjoying the past few years because of the people and opportunities I've been given here in Highland. The people here are very genuine and there are staff that offer help and help students better understand materials. The disciplinary actions taken for misbehaving students also work well for everyone involved. All of the actions highland highschool take almost always have good reasoning and thought put behind it. The way the highschool sets up student's future is very helpful.

I liked the opportunity to take many college and AP classes. The small class sizes is also helpful since each of us are able to get the help we need from the teachers. The main things I would like to see improved are the building itself, and the course selection. For a small school, it offers a nice range of courses, but is still missing some that are available at larger schools.

The only way to have a decent high school experience here is to fit in with the highland clique. I have taken college level courses here where teachers spend the majority of the period gossiping and making plans for the weekend with their favorite students. If teachers and staff like you, your grade...
