Established in 1977, Bonita Canyon Elementary is a public school in the Irvine Unified School District located at 1 Sundance Drive. Home of the Bears, Bonita Canyon enrolls approximately 450 students in kindergarten through sixth grade and boasts a reputation of academic excellence. One of the most celebrated events of the year is the annual Reflections Art Contest—a national art contest with more than 300,000 students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade who submit original artwork reflecting their thoughts, feelings and ideas. Each year the contest provides a specific theme and students present original pieces reflecting their own unique artistry and creativity.

Hub of bullying, no action by principal or teacher. Was a student several years ago and I hope this place has changed for the better.

I am a parent of two children at BCE. We love it. Class sizes are exceptional. The parents and teachers care. The school has a great balance of academia and social. Highly recommend.
